Kenner Discovery HOSA Week Day 1

Kenner Discovery HOSA members created and displayed a poster informing students of the importance of personal hygiene. HOSA Members asked their fellow classmates questions about hand washing and how it affects others. When correctly answered, students got a prize of Germ-X. The theme of this event was "15 Seconds to Save a Life". On the poster, students learned: the importance of hygiene, factors that hurt your immune system, what to do about the problem, common infections spread through bacteria, and the chain of infection. The students also participated by washing their hands during lunch.
