Chapter Spotlight: Carroll High School

On August 29th, Carroll High School invited Mrs. Sonya Augustine, a certified CNA, to speak at their HOSA Meeting. Mrs. Augustine spoke with students about her journey into the world of nursing and shared an insert from a book she was featured in. The insert showcased her life story of being a drop out, and her want to fit in with the crowd. Mrs. Augustine also spoke to students about their platform of identifying if they were truly interested in a health career. The students enjoyed listening to her story and asked her to return for their penning ceremony in the spring.
