SLC Activities Step 1

You will need to create a Chapter Banner and designate 2 banner holders to participate in the Parade of Chapters during the Opening Session.

*Note: Banner Holders will participate in Opening Session Practice on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 6:00pm. Banner Holders will NOT be able to participate in the HOSA Panel Series.*

Offered Events: Print and discuss with entire chapter. The number of Competitive Events a member can compete in is discussed in this document.
Event Guidelines: Members can find all of the updated competitive event guidelines here. This is also where Round 2 and Competitor Times will be posted on February 23, 2018.

Online Testing: Print and discuss with entire chapter. Some events are required to take an online test BEFORE SLC. Testing opens January 29, 2018 and closes February 11, 2018 at 11:55pm

Competitive Events Step 3

~~Reserve Computer Lab~~

Testing Opens January 29, 2018 and closes February 11, 2018.

You will need to reserve a computer lab as soon as possible.

Competitive Events Step 4

~~Complete Online Registration~~

Make sure the correct competitive events have been selected for each member.

When entering team #, team members must have the same team number.

Competititve Event Step 5

~~Complete Online Testing~~

See testing instructions for details on testing process.

To avoid computer problems, all competitors in the same event should test at the same time. For example, all of your CPR/First Aid competitor should test at the same time. All of your Nursing Assisting students should test at the same time.

Plan for an hour and a half - two hours for each test: test set up, testing time, and closing test.

Competitors must click submit in order for their test to count. If competitors close the testing screen before they click submit, their test will not be saved and they will have to take the test again.
