About The
Intense, hands-on, one-week program for high school students interested in a nursing career. Skills training from experienced nurses, guest speakers in the healthcare field and fun activities in some of the following areas.
Patient Care
Simulations
Career Guidance
Emergency Response
College Preparation
Current Health Issues

Eligibility
PROCESS
Application
9-12th grade (at the time of application)
Able to provide own transportation
Resides in Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Grant, La Salle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Vernon or Winn Parishes
Confirm availability for dates
Fill out the online application form
Obtain 2 teacher recommendations (online form)
