October 24 – 28, 2016. It is Red Ribbon Week at Kenner Discovery HOSA. This week was eventful. Our school had a week long awareness of drug abuse. We paid a dollar to join in on a week’s worth of activities. Monday, we dressed up as superheroes to represent us fighting against drugs. Tuesday, we did twin day because friends should support each other and not do drugs. Wednesday was pajama day because we all woke up drug free! Thursday was hat day- to say we put a “cap” on drugs. Friday was sports day where we wore our school’s sport shirts or spirit shirts. This symbolized that it takes a team effort to stop drugs. On top of this week, our HOSA chapter is currently searching for new recruits.
